Violinist Jane Far’s new international cultural project, “Note Siciliane nel Mondo,” was conceived to promote and share the places, flavors, ideas, art, culture, and music of her beloved Sicily throughout the world. Following the international success of “Meridiem,” a soundtrack composed for the women of the world, presented at Expo 2020 Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, which received praise from European Commission Vice President Věra Jourová; “Palermo’s city anthem,” “Palermo,” known and appreciated worldwide, including by Italians and Palermitans abroad; and the single, a cover of the famous song “Mambo Italiano,” Maestro Jane Far, award-winning composer, singer, and violinist, has dedicated a project and song, “Aetherea,” to the Municipality of Corleone. The Project: “Sicilian Notes in the World” The cultural and musical project, which has received the free patronage of the Mayor of Corleone, is dedicated to the cultural, artistic, and tourist promotion of the city of Corleone and Sicily abroad. The project is the result of a great cultural, historical, musical, and tourist effort, aimed at disseminating the inestimable riches and beauty of the Sicilian territories, our history, our roots, and memories from the fringes of time. The International Cultural Project “Sicilian Notes in the World” The international cultural project: “Sicilian Notes in the World,” which saw the production of a music video containing a new, unreleased song composed by Palermo violinist Jane Far, entitled “Aetherea,” dedicated to the splendid city of Corleone, will be officially presented on July 28, 2025, at 6:00 PM in Corleone. C.I.D.M.A. – International Documentation Center on the Mafia and the Anti-Mafia Movement. The project is sponsored by the Metropolitan City of Palermo, Mayor Roberto Lagalla, and by the Municipality of Corleone, Mayor Walter Rà. Participants in the project include: Director Davide Bandolo, Director of Photography Dr. Salvo Quagliana, Assistant Artistic Director Dr. Stefy Elvira, Dr. Alessio Di Calì, and Dr. Alessio Di Calì, along with actresses and models Valeria Romano, Romina Romano, and Claudia Cilluffo.
